Seams to be Reflection, installation (woodcut relief prints on paper, linen, and poly fabric), 24x48 in., Oct. 2025
In this print series, I explore the materiality of memory by reproducing a door from my childhood home. The marks on the door document my growth over time. These doors do not share the same physical properties as a typical door; this impacts function. They are fragile and see-through, lacking any ability to provide security or seclusion. Much like memory, the draping fabric is fluid and flexible. With each encounter or movement, the image becomes distorted.
